Get ready for some free wraps on Nov. 16 as Pitaland opens its second location in Guelph.

The new location, at 20 Clair Rd., is hosting a grand opening to welcome everyone in their new store to have their choice of free chicken, beef and falafel wraps.

“We’re giving them out till we run out,” says marketing director of Pitaland Eleanor Reynolds.

“We love Guelph.”

Pitaland will give free wraps from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 16 and extend their celebration the next day by offering $2 wraps and $5 plates on Nov. 17.

“You have to enjoy the best wrap ever,” says Reynolds.

The Mideast urban kitchen currently has 30 locations nationwide. Reynolds says because of their successful run in Guelph on their Stone Road location, it was a good time for Pitaland to expand.

“Guelph is a beautiful community, it’s the university town, it’s a wonderful neighbourhood and a great community to bring children,” says Reynolds.

Owner of the two Pitaland locations in Guelph, Malik Ahmed said he wanted to contribute to the developing south end of the city.

"Instead of opening something downtown, we thought we would open something in the new neighbourhood for the new community," said Ahmed.

"The town is growing very fast and it's just really vibrant. It keeps developing and getting bigger and bigger so we though we can contribute towards growing Guelph."
