A Guelph Police Drug Unit investigation that started in early February into alleged drug trafficking, concluded on February 23 with six arrests and a search warrant.

The search warrant was executed at a Southcreek Trail home.

Police seized cocaine, MDMA, marijuana, cash, digital scales, a spring assisted knife, a machete style knife, a bayonet and $1,200 in cash.

A 35-year-old Guelph man has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a weapon contrary to a court order.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on February 24, 2016.

Kelsey Feisntein, 23-year-old female from Waterloo, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. She will appear in court on April 26, 2016.

Kheir Poya Hakimi, 30-year-old male from Guelph, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on April 26, 2016.

Sarmod Hakimi, 28-year-old male from Guelph, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on April 26, 2016.

Abdul Hakimi, 33-year-old male from Guelph, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on April 26, 2016.

Suleman Hamkar, 29-year-old male from Guelph, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on April 26, 2016.

The name of the first accused has not been released due to the fact that he is still in police custody.
