On March 9, 2016 the Guelph Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit was conducting a crack-cocaine trafficking investigation at a Metcalfe Street residence.

As a result of this investigation two males were arrested.

A small quantity of crack-cocaine and marijuana was seized.

A 25-year-old Brampton male has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with driving while under suspension.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on March 10, 2016.

This male is not named in this release due to the fact he is still in police custody.

Andre Jacque, 25 years of Brampton has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on April 26, 2016.
