Police find two fake guns, stolen car keys

On Oct. 25, 2016 at 12:22 a.m., the Guelph Police located a male at a Woolwich Street motel that was wanted on outstanding charges.

He was arrested and the subsequent search discovered a set of keys that belonged to a vehicle found to be parked in Riverside Park. That vehicle had been reported stolen to OPP on Oct. 22, 2016.  

Continued investigation determined that two other people with him were also wanted on outstanding charges and they were also arrested. Two replica handguns were also located and seized during this investigation.

A 21-year-old Guelph male has been charged with two counts of possession of property over $5,000, three counts of breach of recognizance and mischief under $5,000. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on Oct. 25, 2016.

A 33-year-old Guelph female has been charged with two counts of breach of probation and fail to re-attend court. She also has multiple charges under a Bench warrant as well as a Provincial Offences warrant. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on Oct. 25, 2016.

A 33-year-old Guelph man has been charged with breach of undertaking. He also faces multiple charges under a Bench warrant as well as a First Instance warrant. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on Oct. 25, 2016.
