Police find two six-foot snakes in Erin

TOWN OF ERIN - On Apr. 5, 2017 at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a "very large boa constrictor" along the Tenth Line of Erin just north of Wellington road 124.

OPP attended and found two six-foot-long snakes, one in a lethargic state and one deceased.

The Orangeville branch of the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) attended and assisted officers by collecting the large snakes. Both were taken by SPCA.
