GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP – On February 8, 2016 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a serious collision involving a Dodge pickup truck and an electric bike (e-bike) on Wellington Road 125 south of Wellington Road 50, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
The deceased driver of the e-bike has been identified as 87-year-old Frank Wood of Rockwood.
The driver of the pickup truck was 29-year-old Christopher Lacasse of Comber and he was not injured.
The cause of the collision continues to be investigated by the Wellington County OPP and the West Region OPP Highway Safety Division.
