Police say vehicle stolen from driveway

Another vehicle in the same driveway was entered and personal items were stolen

A Country Club Drive homeowner came out on the morning on Jan. 4 to find that his wife’s black Pontiac Torrent had been taken from the driveway sometime overnight.

He also found his own pick-up truck in the driveway with its doors open and its contents strewn about.

His wallet, ID and keys to the stolen Torrent were taken from inside the truck.

Worth noting is the obvious connect that down the road on Country Club and over on Waverly Drive, two other vehicles were reported to have been entered and rummaged through.

It is easy to see that this crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
