On June 16, 2016 at approximately 11 a.m., the Guelph Police Drug Enforcement Unit observed a male on Carden Street conducting what appeared to be a drug transaction.
Continued observations saw this male meet with another man and assist him with injecting a substance into his body. Police approached the males and arrested them.
A subsequent search resulted in the discovery of 80 Percocet pills, 2-100mg Hydro Morph pills and cash on one of the males.
Dennis Ryan, 45 years old of Guelph has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance and two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He will appear in court on July 26, 2016.
Gary Lima, 45 years old of Guelph has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on July 26, 2016.
