Anyone planning to attend a Guelph Storm game this season will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.

In a Thursday announcement, the Ontario Hockey League announced the expansion of its vaccination policy for the 2021-22 season, starting on Oct. 7. All players and spectators must be fully vaccinated in order to attend any league games or practices. Spectators are also expected to follow other safety protocols in place at team facilities throughout the province.

Unvaccinated children under the age of 12 will need to be supervised by a fully vaccinated adult.

The Storm kick off the season in Kitchener on Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. with a home opened set for Oct. 9, also against Kitchener. Game time is 7 p.m.
