Man faces drug charge after police respond to complaint at Tim Hortons

On February 12, 2016 at 12:52 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the Tim Horton’s on Woodlawn Road East for the report of a male bothering customers.

The man left prior to police arrival but at 2:11 a.m. he returned and once again was bothering customers.

Police located the man in the plaza and he was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

A search subsequent to his arrest discovered a quantity of cocaine.

Justin Parkinson, 22 years old of Guelph, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (C.D.S.A.) and being intoxicated in a public place (L.L.A.).

He will appear in court on March 18, 2016.
