The Guelph Walk for Arthritis takes place Sunday, June 3. It begins and ends at Chartwell Wellington Park Retirement Residences at 181 Janefield Ave. The walk begins at 11 a.m.
Participants can either pay a $25 registration fee to walk on the day or can raise a minimum of $100, which will result in the registration fee being waived.
Participants receive lunch and a t-shirt. To register go here.

"The Walk for Arthritis helps fund cutting-edge research, advocacy and improved support for those living with and affected by the disease. People of all ages, from children to the elderly, suffer from it; arthritis is a life-limiting chronic disease that more than six million Canadians have," says a news release.

The Arthritis Society has contributed $200 million to research projects that have led to breakthroughs in the diagnosis, treatment and care of those with arthritis. The Walk is now their signature nationwide fundraiser, an event that will help fund these important breakthroughs.
