Resilience 2017 took place in Guelph over the weekend, with Saturday's events largely at St. George's Church being the highlight.
The annual event is put on by Transition Guelph and showcases a variety of activities that support their goal of fostering small scale positive changes that promote living "more lightly and richly on our planet."
Seedy Saturday saw many seeking out non-GMO seeds and gardening products and knowledge, including a seed exchange table.
There was a reskilling fair where people could learn basic skills "that our grandparents took for granted," including preserves and knitting.
Transition Guelph's Repair Cafe also took part, fixing everything form shopping carts to electric pencil sharpeners. Another Repair Cafe is scheduled for the Guelph Public Library on May 27.
eMERGE Guelph also held its annual EcoMarket in Old Quebec Street Mall as part of the festival, with information booths and vendors of all eco-sorts taking part.
