NEWS RELEASE
ROTARY CLUB OF GUELPH TRILLIUM
**********************************
With our first taste of winter this week, we are reminded to take out our warm, winter clothing and be ready for the next downfall of snow.

However, for some families who have arrived in Canada as refugees, they may well not have the clothing to combat the cold weather.

For that reason, the Refugee Committee of the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium is partnering with the Clothing Closet to collect winter clothing – coats, mittens and scarves and a collection box will be set up Dec. 1 at the Stone Road Mall by Guest Services on the C floor.

We encourage you to sort through your closet and be generous and pass forward your gently used winter clothing for children and adults.

The Clothing Closet is located at 400 Victoria St. N. and is open on Thursdays from 9.30 a.m.-12 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Clothing is provided free of charge.

‘Tis the season for giving. Be generous.
