Former Saturday Night Live star set to hit River Run Centre stage

Comedian Kevin Nealon sets himself apart with a unique sense of humour, dry wit and likeable demeanour. The legendary star of Saturday Night Live, feature films including Happy Gilmore, and the television series Weeds promises a standup performance not to be missed when he takes the stage at River Run Centre on Thursday, April 25, at 8 p.m. The Main Stage performance is presented as part of the GuelphToday.com Comedy Series.

Nealon rose to international comedy fame during his nine years as a cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, creating some of the show’s most memorable characters, including Mr. Subliminal and Hans and Franz. His recurring role as an anchor on SNL’s Weekend Update helped cement the satirical news segment as a show staple. Nealon currently stars alongside Matt LeBlanc in the hit CBS television comedy Man With a Plan and hosts the popular YouTube celebrity interview series Hiking With Kevin.

Also well-known for his work on the silver screen, Nealon has starred alongside some of the biggest names in acting and comedy in movies like Anger Management (2003) and The Wedding Singer (1998), among many others.

Nealon also received critical acclaim for his role on the television comedy-drama Weeds, which ran on Showtime from 2005 until 2012. A sought-after television guest star, he also appeared on hit shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Still Standing and Hot In Cleveland.

Tickets to see Kevin Nealon cost $59 for adults, $57 for seniors and students. $20 uGO tickets are available to university and college students with valid ID. $5 eyeGO tickets are available to high school students with valid ID.
