NEWS RELEASE
GUELPH PUBLIC LIBRARY
*****************************
Travel beyond Stratford Festival’s theatrical stage to enjoy and listen to four thought-provoking lectures based on this season’s plays at your Guelph Public Library.

Library CEO Steven Kraft shares, “I’ve been going to Stratford since high school. I remember seeing Maggie Smith in Macbeth. It’s a terrific place to see affordable world class talent and world class theatre. These lectures allow our community to connect with great literature found in our collection.”

For the ninth year, the library is pleased to offer this free lecture series in partnership with Stratford Festival. No registration is required.

Everyone is invited to join us on Thursday evenings in March at 7 p.m. in the Main Library (100 Norfolk St.) for the following lectures:
    •    March 5, 2020 for Chicago with Dr. Ann Wilson, University of Guelph School of English and Theatre Studies
    •    March 12, 2020 for Richard III with Dr. Mark Fortier, University of Guelph School of English and Theatre Studies
    •    March 19, 2020 for Spamalot with David Prosser, Stratford Festival literary and editorial director
    •    March 26, 2020 for Hamlet-911 with Nitasha Rajoo, Stratford Festival interim director of education
