Special weather statement in effect for:
- Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
- Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
- Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County
Strong wind gusts this afternoon and early evening.
Northwesterly winds gusting 70 to 80 km/h are forecast to develop early this afternoon. These strong winds will continue through the day before weakening this evening.
Gusty winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Local power outages will also be possible.
