Drawing on the expertise of accomplished local nonprofit leaders, the ‘Voyage Together’ Symposium will build on the relationships that have developed through the Executive Director Peer Group (EDPG) and will provide hands-on collaboration within the community benefit sector in Guelph and Wellington County. The Symposium is being held on Monday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Guelph Youth Music Centre.
PIN - The People and Information Network, formerly the Volunteer Centre of Guelph Wellington, is pleased to offer this event again this year.
“The success of the inaugural EDPG Symposium clearly showed an appetite for peer learning” says Christine Oldfield, Executive Director, PIN. “An opportunity to connect, network and leverage the strengths of local leaders and organizations strengthens community.”
This daylong event will consist of concurrent sessions on relevant topics such as team development and board engagement. The keynote address will be given by Andrea Groenewald of Five Star Relationships.
Community leaders such as not-for-profit Executive Directors and Managers are invited to attend the Symposium; tickets are $50 for EDPG members, $75 for non- members and lunch will be provided.
