Registration is now open for the fourth annual Tour de Guelph event.

The cycling fundraiser for Guelph General Hospital and Rotary for people of all ages and abilities takes place Sunday, Jun. 25.

In its first three years the Tour de Guelph has raised over $150,000 for Guelph General Hospital, Guelph Trillium and Rotary projects. This year, the fundraising goal has been set to $80,000, says a press release from organizers.

The funds would be used to help fund a much needed non-invasive respiratory ventilator for Guelph General and to help support a number of local charities through the Rotary Clubs of Guelph South and Guelph Trillium.

There are six routes available on the Tour, including a family-friendly 5k and 10k through the Arboretum, and 25k, 50k, 100k, and 160k routes through Guelph-Wellington’s scenic rural roads.

People can register as an individual, as a family, or as a team as part of Tour de Guelph’s Community Team Challenge.

Registration is open until June 22. Online early-bird prices are in effect until midnight Thursday, May 25.

The events website is www.tourdeguelph.ca.
