Collision with cyclist

On Friday, July 29, 2016 at 6:45 p.m., a Toyota, driven by a 69-year-old Guelph male, was northbound on Gordon Street in the curb lane. 

A cyclist, a 28-year-old Guelph male, was northbound in the bicycle lane.  

At the intersection of Gordon and Clair, the bicycle and vehicle collided. 

The driver of the Toyota was charged with turn – not in safety under the Highway Traffic Act. 

There were minimal injuries in this collision. 

The cyclist was wearing a helmet.
