This March, students in Guelph will learn about careers they didn’t know were possible, at Guelph CVI’s Tech and Trades Fair. The second annual event, presented by GCVI’s Pathways Committee, will connect 1,500 students with local employers, colleges and universities, opening their eyes to a wide variety of pathways available in tech and the trades.

The fair will motivate students to consider different careers within technology and the trades, with a focus on lesser-known trades and trades for which there is high local demand. Employers will have the opportunity to let students know about employment and/or apprenticeship opportunities, and representatives from local colleges and universities will provide information on post-secondary pathways.

Event details:

  • Date: Wednesday, March 7, 2018
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Place: Guelph CVI, 155 Paisley St., Guelph
