The University of Guelph and the University of Guelph Faculty Association has reached a tentative contract agreement.
The university and UGFA, the union that represents about 800 faculty, veterinarians and librarians, have been negotiating a renewal agreement since July.
A tentative agreement was reached with the help of a mediator.
"Details of the agreement will remain confidential pending ratification by the membership of UGFA and the University’s Board of Governors," said the U of G in a notice posted on its web site Sunday.
