UPDATE: Guelph has 27 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19

There have been 51 cases in Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph to date, with five resolved
COVID-19

According to the latest statistics from Public Health posted at 11:53 a.m. Thursday there are now 27 lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Guelph.

There are seven in Wellington County and 16 in Dufferin County, which is the coverage area of Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.

There have been 11 new cases confirmed in the past 48 hours.

Five of people in Public Health's coverage area are hospitalized, three in intensive care.

Of the 51 WDGPH confirmed cases to date, five have been resolved.

The number does not include people who may have symptoms and are self-isolating at home but who have not been tested. It also does not include people who work in Public Health's coveage area but reside outside that area.
