COVID-19

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health reports no new cases confirmed for Guelph on Friday, although it now says an unidentified case from Tuesday was from Guelph.

That would make it the lone confirmed case in Guelph in the past eight days.

There was one confirmed case in Wellington County on Friday and another case where the location has yet to be identified. The Wellington County case was the third this week.

Public Health is not currently giving any further local statistical data on its web site. When asked Thursday, they did say there were four active cases in Guelph.

An outbreak at the Village of Riverside Glen that saw eight staff members test positive has been resolved.
