VIDEO: alleged thief leaves a hole in roof of Fergus business

Police report a forced entry over night saw a business robbed of cigarettes, vape pens, money and lottery tickets

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Wellington OPP are investigating an overnight robbery that saw a Centre Wellington business with severe damage.

Wellington OPP are reporting sometime between 11 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday morning suspects forced entry from the roof into a Fergus business. 

The suspects then stole cigarettes, vape pens, money and lottery tickets. 

The business is not being identified. Damage and loss estimates are still pending. 

Police ask if anyone knows someone who is trying to illegally sell products that may be related to this or have information about this incident to contact Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
