The Random Acts of Kindness program is coming to GuelphToday!
The Random Acts of Kindness program was designed to celebrate and encourage people to come together in our community and to help break barriers, brighten someone’s day, make a wish come true or lend a helping hand to someone in need.
GuelphToday wants to bring the joy of a Random Act of Kindness to our community.
The GuelphToday team (with the help of very generous sponsors in our community) will soon be launching the program and making someone's day very special.
But, we need your help to find people in Guelph who really could use something really special to brighten their day.
Do you know someone who has:
· Actively and selflessly made significant contributions to the community that positively impact the people in our city?
· Performs extraordinary deeds of kindness despite facing their own personal challenges?
· Were faced with an incredible loss or an extremely difficult year?
· Have been diagnosed or is living with a debilitating illness?
· Experienced financial barriers or ongoing hardships that have negatively impacted their life in significant ways?
· Haven't had the opportunity to be recognized for the good deeds they do for others?
If you know someone extra-special that you think deserves a surprise, nominate them on our Random Acts of Kindness nomination page. Tell us their story and provide as many details as possible as to what makes them a great candidate. Also, share what might make a difference in their lives, brighten their day or simply make them feel special.

If we select your nominee, we will work with you and our local community sponsors to match up a random act for the recipient that makes a meaningful difference in their life. Then, we will come up with a special plan to surprise them with it!
