FERGUS, ON – The Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) opened a new office in Fergus Monday. Surrounded by Waterloo Wellington LHIN staff and local community members, Bruce Lauckner, CEO of the LHIN and Karyn Lumsden, Vice President of Home and Community Care, welcomed attendees and took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce.

The new office, located at 181 St. Andrew Street East in Fergus, will function as a satellite office for Waterloo Wellington LHIN Home and Community Care staff. As the most northern Waterloo Wellington LHIN office for the organization, the Fergus office will allow staff to better serve Wellington residents, providing care closer to home for many patients.

The Fergus office will function as a drop-in and resource office for staff, there will be no public facing hours of operation. For those interested in Home and Community Care resources in Wellington, please call 310-2222.
