There's one huge benefit of dressing up like Waldo of Where's Waldo fame, says Riverfest reveller Paul Romanowitch.
"All the girls know my name," he quipped.
People of all ages are enjoying the experience of playing Where's Waldo in real life during the music festival at Bissel Park in Elora, said Romanowitch.
"I lost count of how many people have found me. The crowds move. I try to stay with them but I can't always do it. As long as they're having fun, that's all that matters," he said.
"I have the body type for it and I always loved Where's Waldo when I was growing up," he explained.
Romanowitch hails from Salem, Ont., a neighbouring community of Elora.
Today is the second day of the three-day festival.
Mother Mother, who played Friday night, was the band Romanowitch was most interested in seeing.
"They had a great sound and the crowd was really moving," he said.
This evening, Romanowitch was listening to Hollerado and anticipating a late set by MGMT.
Tomorrow he is looking forward to seeing Gogol Bordello.
"My friend just raves about them," said Romanowitch.
Although Riverfest is an outdoor festival, Romanowitch said it's intimate and has allowed him to speak to some of the artists directly, like members of Monster Truck.
"That's what I think makes Riverfest so great, not just for the fans, but for the artists as well," he said.
Sunday at noon, the Fergus Pipe Band take to the main stage — the same one played over the course of the festival by headliners like Mother Mother, USS, Sloan and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
"I have been talking to (The Fergus Pipe Band). They are really amazing people and I love the concept. I'm going to be out here rooting for them and dancing," said Romanowitch.
Riverfest continues Sunday, the schedule can be seen here.
