Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail at 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon

A free weekly timed 5k run, jog, and walk kicks off just east of the covered bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m.

Trees for Guelph planting

Eastview Community Park (800 Watson Pkwy. N.); 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The group’s final planting of the year goes ahead rain or shine. This is an all-ages event.

Halloween Market

St. George's Anglican Church (99 Woolwich St.); 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

More than 50 vendors are expected for this ‘witchy-vibed’ market.

Afternoon Tea fundraiser for hospice

All Saints Lutheran Anglican Church (210 Silvercreek Pkwy.); 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to this come and go event is by donation, with all proceeds going to Hospice Wellington. In addition to a silent auction, there will be tea/coffee with sandwiches, scones and more.

Monster March and Wicked Wagons

Downtown Elora, 6 p.m.

This non-motorized free event is a great opportunity for the whole family to get in disguise (including pets). We encourage all parade participants, individuals and groups, to wear your best Halloween costume.

You can also participate in the Wicked Wagons Contest; decorate a parade float from your wagon or stroller with your best spooky ideas to win.

The parade is followed by a “mini-mash” at Bissell Park with free treats and judging of the Wicked Wagons.

Trick or Treat Circus: A Hallowe'en Cabaret

Goldie Mill Ruins (75 Cardigan St.); 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Features aerial acts, acrobatics, fire performances and ‘delightful characters’ for an all-ages, family friendly show. The cost of admission ranges from free to $30 per person. Find more information here.
