WELLINGTON COUNTY – At this time, there are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wellington County. County officials are working closely with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health to respond to the situation.

The Government of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health has recommended social distancing in order to slow the spread of COVID-19.

In response, all Wellington County libraries and the Wellington County Museum and Archives will be closed to the public March 16 – April 6, 2020.

“The County of Wellington continues to follow the guidance of public health officials,” said Warden Kelly Linton. “The COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will be making any appropriate changes as necessary.”
