As a result of an ongoing investigation, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid charges against a student in relation to sharing intimate images. It was reported that students from a school in Wellington County had shared intimate images of a 14-year-old student in a social media chat group.
A 15-year-old from Wellington County was charged with imports, distributes, sells or posses for the purpose of distribution or sale any child pornography and make intimate image available without consent, contrary to the Criminal Code and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph.
