NEWS RELEASE
ROYAL CITY MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS INC.
*************************
Royal City Musical Productions Inc. is proud to present two classic musicals for our 40th year in the Guelph community.

Running Nov. 21-25, 2018, the family musical Annie will come to the River Run Centre Main Stage. Little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite her next to nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan.

From April 25-28, 2019, the musical thriller, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will run at the River Run Centre, Cooperators Hall. An unjustly exiled barber returns to nineteenth-century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and destroyed his family. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietor of a failing pie shop, with whom he opens a new barber practice.

Tickets for the season go on sale on Saturday, June 16 at 11 a.m.

For the very first time, RCMPI is pleased to announce a ticket launch discount for our fall production. Save 20 per cent with promo code SMILE20 if you purchase your tickets for Annie before July 1.

Tickets can be purchased with the promo code at the River Run Centre box office at 35 Woolwich or by calling 519-736-3000, Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are also available online at riverrun.ca.
