NEWS RELEASE

ASH AND THORN FARM

*************************
Ghouls, werewolves and a clown or two are prowling around this local farm getting ready to scare families on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017.

Ash and Thorn Farm, 7679 6th Line, Ennotville, is hosting their 2nd annual Haunted Woods Walk in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington. Halloween is a time for fun and scares and a group of volunteers from the local community has come to together again to make sure you get both of those things.

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 with tickets at $30 for a family of four. Visits between 6 and 7 p.m. are designed with younger children in mind. Walk the trail with your nearest and dearest and hope you don’t leave them behind running scared.

Last year the event raised almost $1,000 for the BBBSCW and the volunteers were really happy with the great outcome and loved how much fun it was to frighten the attendees. The organizers are hoping to raise even more money this second year for this great community organization.

Tickets will be sold at the door starting at 6 p.m. the day of the event. Anyone looking to support the event through donations or who would like to volunteer should contact the organizers directly at 519-400-4599 or [email protected].
