GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP – On February 4, 2016 at approximately 9:55 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a driving complaint about a 2012 Hyundai on Highway 7, Guelph-Eramosa Township. 

Police located the vehicle and spoke with the female driver who showed signs that she was impaired by alcohol and was arrested.

She was taken to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing.

Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

49-year-old Sandra Boyle has been charged with impaired driving and over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

She is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 22, 2016 to answer to the charges.
