UFC Fighter and World Champion Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson and father Ray Thompson will be coming to Guelph, Ontario Saturday Sept. 22, 2018. Organized by Guelph Family Martial Arts. The event will include a seminar with several martial arts techniques and a meet and greet, which will include photo and signature opportunities.

Thompson has worked with UFC Champions George St. Pierre and Chris Weidman, he is well-known for his karate style. Thompson has fought against World Champion Tyron Woodley, World Champion Johnny Hendricks, World Champion Robert Whittaker, World Champion Rory MacDonald and Patrick Cote.

Guelph resident and World Champion Nathan Skoufis, owner of Guelph Family Martial Arts wanted to bring something exciting to the community he has lived in for his entire life. Skoufis is also a karate stylist also trained with George St. Pierre and has claimed numerous titles throughout the globe in martial arts. This will be Stephen Thompson’s only stop on his seminar tour before he returns home to South Carolina.

Doors open at 1 p.m., the event will go from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., open to the public. The event will take place at John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute 21 Meyer Dr, Guelph. Tickets for the event are very limited, for tickets please contact: [email protected] or phone 519-341-0550.
