NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF GUELPH
*************************
A water main break occurred at the 2 Quebec St. apartment building around 10 a.m. today.

Building residents continue to have access to running water. There are no health or safety risks as a result of the water main break.

To minimize traffic impacts and business disruptions, the water main repairs will be done overnight between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. Yarmouth Street, north of Norfolk Street, will be closed to all vehicular traffic during this time.

The five-point intersection of Norfolk Street, Paisley/Quebec Street and Yarmouth Street will remain open, with no access to Yarmouth Street.

Some noise and light due to construction may be experienced by those living or working in the area.

The City will provide updates at guelph.ca and on Facebook and Twitter should anything change, or once repairs are complete.
