The Toronto Argonauts are looking at the University of Guelph as a possible home for its training camp in May.

U of G Athletics Director Scott McRoberts said Argos personell toured the facilities recently but no decision has been made.

Chris Balenovich, manager of football media for Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment said nothing has been decided at this point.

The Argos held training camp at the U of G in 2016. In the mid-1990s they held camp there several times.

McRoberts said one thing that has been confirmed is that the Calgary Stampeders will temporarily make the U of G their home base from July 5 to July 9.

The Stampeders play in Toronto on July 4 and in Hamilton on July 10, so rather than fly back to Alberta they will make the U of G their home base between games.
