The defending Grey Cup champions are set to make a return to Guelph for training camp and exhibition play this spring.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Toronto Argonauts are set to take over the University of Guelph’s Alumni Stadium in mid-May for spring training, followed by an exhibition game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on May 30.
"We are proud of the work that has been done during our ongoing partnership with the Argos and look forward to continuing to build on that in the future,” U of G athletic director Scott McRoberts said in a post on the university’s website. “And of course, we cannot wait for the game on May 30, as our local Guelph community, as well as Argos and Ticats fans, once again get the opportunity to watch CFL action at one of the best collegiate facilities in the country."
The Argos previously held training camps at the U of G in 2021 to 2024, as well as in 2016.
Kick-off for the Tiger-Cats exhibition game on May 30 is set for 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.
