Big night by Interisano propels Royals to victory (6 photos)

Three hits, including a homer and a game-winning double, for the Guelph native

Justin Interisano's third hit of the game, a double, drove home Sean Reilly with the winning run Saturday at Hastings Stadium as the Royals downed the London Majors 5-4.

Reilly had reached base by being hit by a pitch with one out.

Interisano also had a home run and a single in the game for the Royals, Jeff MacLeod and Darius Barlas each had two hits.

Yomar Conception started and went seven and two-thirds innings. Ben Reid came on in relief and earned the win.

Conception gave up two earned runs and struck out seven.

Guelph is now 5-9 on the season, London falls to 9-5.

The Royals play in Toronto against the Maple Leafs on Sunday. Next home game is Tuesday when Brantford visits.
