Big third period paces Guelph Storm over Owen Sound

Will host the Kitchener Rangers Sunday at 4 p.m.

OWEN SOUND - A big third period paced the Guelph Storm to a 7-2 win over the Owen Sound Attack Saturday night.

Guelph, who never trailed in the game, led 3-2 heading into the third period.

Fifteen Storm players recorded at least one point and none had more than two points.

Nate Schnarr, with a goal and an assist, now has 99 points on the season as he looks to become the team;s first 100-point scorer since Scott Kosmachuk six seasons ago.

Schnarr will be looking for his 100th point and Isaac Ratcliffe, who has 48 goals, will be looking to reach the 50-goal season on Sunday when the team hosts the Kitchener Rangers in a 4 p.m. start.
