Six of the best university men's teams in Guelph vying for national honours

The Canadian University Rugby Championships kicked off at Varsity Stadium Thursday, featuring six of the best men's squads in the country.

The host University of Guelph Gryphons won their first game, easily defeating the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers 66-0.

Also entered in the tournament are the University of British Columbia, Concordia, McMaster and the University of Victoria.

Guelph's second game iss et for Saturday at 2 p.m.

The gold medal game goes Sunday at 1 p.m.
