Former Guelph Storm winger Pavel Gogolev has signed a deal with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.

Gogolev, 20, had 45 goals and 51 assists in 63 games with the Storm in 2019-2020.

Undrafted, he was eligible to return to Guelph this season as an overage player. When COVID put the brakes on the OHL season he headed to Sweden where he had two goals and one assist in 12 games with Vasby IK of the Swedish second-tier Allsvenskan division.
