LONDON - The Guelph Storm exploded for four goals in a span of 8:22 of the second period to power them to a 7-3 win over the London Knights Tuesday.
The win was Guelph's fourth straight.
London jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period before Alexey Toropchenko got Guelph on the board with 22 seconds left in the first period.
Guelph then jumped all over London, with four even-strength goals in the second to take over the game.
Isaac Ratcliffe and Sean Durzi each scored twice, with singles going to Liam Hawel, Nick Suzuki and MacKenzie Entwistle.
For Ratcliffe that's eight goals in his past three games.
Guelph lost Keegan Stevenson and Dmitri Samorukov to injury in the third period.
The Storm plays in Erie Wednesday night. Friday the Windsor Spitfires visit Guelph.
