The Guelph Gryphons men's hockey team opens the OUA playoffs against the Windsor Lancers Thursday night at the Gryphon Centre. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Game 2 in the best-of-three series is set for Windsor on Saturday night, with a Game 3, if necessary, back in Guelph on Sunday night.
Guelph finished fourth in the West Division in the regular season with 33 points (16-11-1) while Windsor was fifth with 31 points (14-11-3).
The two teams split their two regular season encounters, with Guelph winning 6-3 in Guelph and Windsor winning 6-1 in Windsor.
