The Gryphon men shot just 64 per cent from the free throw line Friday night in an 89-76 loss to the fifth-ranked McMaster Marauders at the Mitchell Athletics Centre.

Guelph wraps up the regular season Saturday night at 8 p.m. against the Brock Badgers in a must-win situation.

A Guelph win combined with a Lakehead loss to Windsor puts the Gryphs in the playoffs.

It will also be the final for the Gryphon men at the Mitchell Athletics Centre, which is being replaced by a new gym for next season.

Jonathan Wallace led Guelph with 23 points. Taylor Boers added 20 and graduating senior Jack Beatty had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Beatty is the team’s lone graduating senior.
