Bridget Atkinson scored a career-high 24 points as the University of Guelph Gryphons dropped the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks 71-62 at Laurier Friday.
With the win Guelph improves to 8-6 on the season.
Katelyn Yallin scored 12 points off the bench to help the Guelph cause and Kate MacTavish finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Gueph plays on the road again Saturday at the University of Waterloo.
