Guelph Royals even things up in playoffs (8 photos)

Series tied 1-1 with Game 3 in Toronto on Sunday

Angel Villalona had three hits, including a two-run homer, to power the Guelph Royals to a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night at Hastings Stadium.

The win evens the best-of-five opening round Intercounty Baseball League playoff series at a game a piece. Game 3 goes Sunday in Toronto and Game 4 in Guelph on Tuesday.

Guelph trailed 1-0 before Villalona's blast to deep left field gave Gueph the 2-1 lead.

Toronto tied things in the top of the seventh before Guelph regained the lead in the bottom of the seventh courtesy of a Jon Waltenbury groundout that scored Jeff McLeod from third base.

Royals starter Yomar Conception pitched a complete game four-hitter, striking out 12.
