Guelph Storm blown out in London

LONDON - Elora native Owen MacDonald had a goal and an assist to help his London Knights down the Guelph Storm 8-2 at Budweiser Gardens Thursday night.

London led 2-0 after the first period and 5-0 after two. James McEwan and Nick Deakin-Poot scored third period goals for the Storm. Sam Miletic had two goals and two assists to lead the London attack.

Liam Herbst went all the way in net for the Storm, facing 44 shots. Guelph fired 28 at London's Tyler Parsons.

Guelph hosts the Saginaw Spirit Friday night.
