OTTAWA - Kyle Maksimovich scored a power play goal with 51 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Ottawa 67's a 4-3 win in Ottawa Friday night.

Lucas Chiodo circled the Storm net then found a waiting Maksimovich who fired it into the open net as Guelph netminder Anthony Popovich couldn't recover from Chiodo's rush in close.

The Ottawa penalty came when Guelph was whistled for too many men on the ice.

Guelph's Nick Suzuki forced overtime when he tied the game 3-3 on the power play with 3:01 remaining in regulation.

The Storm led 2-1 after the second period.

Keegan Stevenson had the other two Storm goals and Popovich made 38 saves in a strong performance. Nate Schnarr had three assists.

Guelph plays in Kingston Saturday night.
