Guelph Storm falters on the road

Windsor snaps a five-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over Guelph Saturday night

WINDSOR – The Guelph Storm got off to a bad start on the road in Windsor Saturday night and it didn't get much better.

The Spitfires scored a pair of goals in the opening 3:37 of the game snapped a five-game losing streak with a 6-3 victory over the Storm.

WIndsor outscored Guelph 2-1 in each of the three periods, outshooting Guelph 45-20 on the night.

Eric Uba had a pair of goals for the Storm and Pavel Gogolev had the other. Gogolev also had two assists.

Nico Daws allowed all six goals.

The Storm has nine games remaining in the regular season. They play in Erie on Wednesday then host the Oshawa Generals on Friday.
