The Guelph Storm traded two more players on Tuesday as the Ontario Hockey League trade deadline passed at noon.

Defenceman Cedricson Okitundu, 19, was traded to the Hamilton Bulldogs for a seventh round draft pick in 2024 and Chase Coughlan, 17, was traded to the Sudbury Wolves for a fifth round draft pick in 2024.

Okitundu was acquired earlier this season from the Owen Sound Attack in exchange for a fifth round pick. In 29 games with the Storm he had five goals and one assist.

While Okitundu struggled early in Guelph, his play had been much improved of late, but with the Storm acquiring Chandler Romeo from Sarnia Monday it meant someone was going to be moved off a crowded blueline group.

Coughlan, a third round pick of Guelph in 2022, played in seven games with the Storm this season, scoring once. He had nine goals in 18 games playing with tier II Georgetown Raiders.

The Storm plays in Hamilton Wednesday night.
